Is it wrong for me to play with Lego?

No, it's not wrong. But it's more fun (and not as weird) if you play with more than one Lego.
But Lego is an uncountable noun.

Hmph. You are right, but actually it is LEGO, they make LEGO bricks.

But I'd prefer to discuss the bricks without shouting every time I mention them.

Okay, just wanted to make sure you weren't playing with only one.

Yes, they aren't cheap here either. I gave 2 buckets to a neighbour's grandchild but I will never part with our Lego or our £150 collection of Brio and Tesco wooden rail and train track.

I think it depends on what you build
I'm not that familiar with lego
but being in your 50's
it would have to be something big
something spectacular
otherwise
no
it's not ok

The shops are awash with cheap (very cheap) Brio copies from China.
Seems the Chinese cannot copy Duplo though!

I did some volunteer work looking after children building a big City. It was worthwhile 🙂

Depends, are you following the instructions or doing your own thing?

There was an "Art Installation" at Dunedin Art Gallery last year made up of a gazillion white lego bricks.
Members of the public were encouraged to build/amend/demolish whatever they liked.

I had to be dragged away by my wife! :-)

No nothing wrong with playing Lego, there is also adult colouring that has become popular. Calms and relaxes people. From what I see a lot of folks on here should be doing that. 😉
