I thinks it flat. I was just looking at the map of the world and that is flat not round so hey QED

Well its got mountains and valleys, so can't be flat.
Those mountains and valleys mean it can't be a sphere.
(That's "round" to those with a 2D bent to describing 3D objects).
So answer: neither.

And PS, if that aint bad enough, try defining the geometric coordinate system before we describe a shape:
cartesian co-ords are not the only choice we have available...
In fact, using an "earth" co-ordinate system, I can now clearly define the shape of the earth as a point.
Which is of course pointless. 😉

HaHaHa. I have to say, I found the Flat earth Society website very entertaining. It's the "Naked Gun" presentation of "science" that I enjoyed.

The nearest geometric model to describe the shape of the world is an Oblate Spheroid. As its name suggests it roughly means 'a slightly oblong sphere'.
So you can't say it's flat or round.......so there !

the world is clearly not totaly round - just look at all them mountains - and it isn't flat either - once more, glance at them mountains - so i conclude:
it is a triangle.
it is one hell of a big triangle.
verry verry big whooping triangle.

wheres my prize?

It is round because if it was flat then people would fall off the ends if there were ends.

But the Bible says it does have corners. Are you following
logic and common sense instead of the Bible in this case? Praise GOD!!!

Flat. In particular, a four-sided polygon.

Biblical proof is always the best.

Revelation 7:1
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth
, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
This is ridiculous. Even were the Earth to be flat, it is still huge. Where on Earth, no pun intended, could a person be standing to see all four corners. And how does an angel "hold" wind?

Oh, not only did we land there, but we also know that
people live there. And not only there, but on the sun!

Hab. 3:11
The sun and moon stood still in their habitation
: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.
"....their habitation" not their inhabitants. Big difference.

Have you ever seen how two parallel lines seem to meet in the distance. By definition of parralel, they could never meet. You may want to rethink this post.

Actually, the earth has been measured around the equator and around the pole caps. There is a large difference between the measurements. So one can presume that there is at least a curve.

The stars seen on the southern hemisphere are different to the stars seen on the north. This also entails different angels, although the cube form of Cribby G could also fit into this one (but not in the previous).

If you measure the distance between Glasgow and London and the angles between them, with the third point being the moon, you can form a triangle. You can then work out the length of distance between Glasgow and the moon at any given point and London and the moon at any given point, and taking the same point, the distances will be different.
If you do this from Sydney and from Reikovic, the difference will be significantly different and you will then see the curve of the earth for sure.

Or somethin' like that. Sometimes I feel like Tim "The toolman" Taylor, after he's been talking to Wilson.
And at least you can't accuse me of copy and pastin'....

No! The verse speaks of 4 corners, not 8. I'm very firm on this
point. Show me just one verse that says there are 8.
