The General Forum is a "safe space" for anyone to wander in off the street to share and release. It speaks well of the denizens here that everyone is welcome no matter how crude, annoying or generally unpleasant. Would the forum be a bit better off if a few folks had their Internet service disconnected for a week or two? Surely.
But if not here, where? Where can the annoying chess players of the world go and be welcome to spew their stupid comments and pathetic screeds? Everyone needs a friend, even the worst of us.
