@lemondrop saidProbably inland, somewhat elevated and not too dry (for fires) or too flat (for tornado formation).
I live on the ring of fire
is there anyplace safe from natural disasters?
where is the safest place
Sorry that I don't know the answer, but I imagine some people must have mapped this already.
@lemondrop saidWhere I live is 30 km from one of the world's most active volcanoes, 20 km from a tsunami-prone coast, in a region regularly hit by landslides, floods and storms.

The distances from the volcano and the tsunami risk mean we are pretty safe. The volcano means we are on a gentle north to south slope which means our neighbourhood doesn't flood. There are no hills or steep slopes nearby so there are no landslides. And storms tend to dash themselves on the land to the south.
Sometimes being smack bang in the middle of all these theoretical risks can end up being a risk-free place to be.

@lemondrop saidDidn’t we already establish that you’re too fat to move anywhere?

If it makes you feel any better I have a torn tendon in my foot that’s stopping me moving anywhere.
