Just beat a jerk (from South Korea) on chess.com
Called me a "stupid mussie"
presumably because of NZ support for Muslims?

Sad.

The world is full of ignorant jerks.

Any native speakers of Korean around?
Maybe some insult from their language?

I set my options to keep chat off on Chess.com. The trade off for getting live games quickly is having to deal scumbags. Not worth it.

Interesting.....You beat him yet he calls you stupid. I would asked him what that made him since I won the game.

No chat.
He was graded about 200 above me.
And my opening was rather unorthodox.
He obviously got upset by that.

Did it transpose back into an opening after so many moves?

It is surprising how upset people who are higher rated can get when you beat them.

I think a lot of times they under estimate the player they are playing against and believe they have it won before they actually play the game and make silly mistakes.
