I want to know all your opinions about this.
On January 5th 2003 I got caught by police with 2 grams of hash:police officers wrote a verbal and it ended here............until today.
This morning a P officer came to my house and gave me a convocation
for a psychiatrist encounter and a drug test on June 25th 2004.
My driver license probably will be suspended for three months, forcing me to find something alternative for going to work.
I was very disappointed because I didn't expect ,after 18 months of silence, that someone comes to me and told me that:I guess in any other nation this kind of things are questioned immediately, not after a year and a half!
I was told that a speak with psychiatrist would be probable, but no one knew when.
Today I was not afraid about what I did but about the italian law slowness..................
Law things are kinda slow in your country?just wondering..............
Uh Gambit. That was a little uncalled for. Anyway, Ravello, before you submit to the drug test, I would consult a lawyer and find out if there is a statute of limitations on issuing forced drug tests after a conviction, what the penalties are for not taking the test, etc..
Incidentally, I must add that, if you were warned about an illegal substance, one must ask the question why were you still using it? What was the content of the verbal warning? Did it include being subject to spontaneous test?

In the USof A the constitution gives you the right to a speedy, but not neessarily just trial. In World War Two we defeated Japan, Germany and Italy. Guess Patton and the Fifth Army should have given you a copy of the constitution before they left.

Secondly, I said that I was wrong for hash detention,i was surprised because for a year and a half I didn't hear nothing from authorities, neither they knew when and if I was going to have a drug test.

1: Persecution You must defend yourself in the eyes of the law. You should not let them obtain a classification of you based on some bizarre application of some fashionable-but-less-than-100%-proven psychiatric test at an innapproraite moment, nor should you be persecuted by random testing not applied to the rest of the population. Sometimes the law, and everybody's country, makes serious mistakes like this. And so you must struggle against your country.
2; Assistance Hash and marijuana administer the drug THC; this does seem to have long term effects connected to psychiatric diseases. It is appropriate for your country to be concerned about this. You are suspected of previous use and they should be concerned you may need assistance to overcome this problem. It is right that your country should offer you assistance. Your country cares for you.
The problem in reconciling these issues is whether or not your country should FORCE assistance on you. My personal opinion is "no" in the case of hashish/marijuana use/posession.
I definitely consider a country that did not OFFER assistance to be a negligent and uncaring country.

In regard of this I'll tell you another story.a friend of mine lost his wallet with a small piece of hash inside(0,5 gr).
Someone found the wallet and gave it to the local police station (bringing the money that was in).
The officers found the little piece of hash and proceeded to notify to the Prefect(not the one who plays here),which assigned to my friend the psychiatrist talk and the drug test within a MONTH.
Now that sounds strange to me............
