Cheers Rav... congrats Italy... at the start of the WC I had hoped for a final between Italy and Argentina.... and I'm glad that one of the best teams in this tourney won.... although most of the the players are now Series B and C players !

Well done, Italy!!

It was a good match and with a well-deserved winner. Zidane disappointingly decided he was a daltonic bull and gave himself an unfitting end for his career and denied his team of its best penalty kicker. Italy were impressive for the whole tournament (with the exception of the match with the USA) and are a deserved winner since for me, the teams that played the best football were Italy and Argentina.

PS: In a side note for the English forummers, the ref was again excellent.
