{fill in your own choice of regrets, this is one of mine}

Forum threads used to be conversations, with the back-and-forth chat clearly visible. It's a pity that so many posts nowadays are just links to other things in other places. Sure, I know it's easier, particularly if you can't type, but it's taken away most of the pleasure of reading forums for me. Even though I'm guilty of doing it myself, where a lengthy explanation, or a research source, has been requested. I guess it's OK to include a link so long as you've done the text first.

Hate to nick pick but isn't that a complaint rather than a regret even though you admit to doing it yourself, some people regret getting married but complain about their spouse.

Sometimes I regret that I have so many complaints.

(None of them, however, is about my spouse.)

To be serious though, I do agree.

I hate it when people post links.

I would much rather have a table tennis like conversation.
Back and forth and back again and so on the way a good
conversation should be had. If you look at all my posts
you will see I very rarely post links.

I would much rather interact with new friends I have found
on these forums. I know that links can be helpful sometimes.
But if I want links then I'll go to you tube or google, not RHP.

Bang bang.........smoking gun.

No. I got divorced January 23 2013.

I got rid of her legally and it only cost me 600 Euro,
because I did it all myself. No solicitor, no barrister.

Had to play those roles myself.

You should not be afraid of the law. Once you navigate the law
properly it is just like dealing with any other aspect of life.

Definitely the best divorce is two poor people agreeing to divorce, once money or bitterness enters the equation the legal eagles will take both parties to the cleaners.

I'm surprised you're still able to post, with all the continuous drunken parties et al. 😉

I partied and gave thanks to God, Allah, Buddha, some Indian Deities and of
course Bacchus the Roman God of wine.

If a relationship is not working, then it's best to end it.

This is not a reflection on women as a whole. I love women and life would
be a poorer place without them. Is there someone out there for everyone?

I don't know.

I do know one thing though, I will not marry again.
