When we in England get high temperatures like 36(97f) c, it comes with very high levels of humidity, compared to say L.A where I have been at the height of summer and experienced 36c there, there is no comparison, it is a dry heat and feels less uncomfortable to even a 30(86f) c in England.

This works the other way around too. I contrast walking to the train station when it's -20C here in Norway with walking to my local curry house in London at +2C and I know which one feels worse.

I have no idea how hot it's been. Upper 90's I hear. Haven't gone outside much lately. The fans and the air conditioner finally started working as a team.
