I'm in my final year too.

* Don't put yourself into positions that can lead to increased stress (ie leaving all your work until the last minute) leave relationships alone, unless you are already in one (certainly dont go out looking for one), with all the academic stress you will have, any major emotional turmoil will probably overwhelm you. Find yourself a decent study partner for the exams.

* Get plenty of sleep, and dont over do it on parties, but try your best to make some events, it will help you destress.

* Always feel able to talk to your professors if you start feeling like you can't cope. They can usually give good advice (they have probablty dealt with people in the same position many times before), certainly better than you will get asking anonymous people you dont know on a correspondence chess site.

Worst advice ever. Unless you are being paid to explain things, study alone (when revising for exams and such; this is different in other circumstances).

I'll give you the advice I give to all my students: bribe your supervisor for good grades by sleeping with them.
