Camelspiders.net says they aren't spiders, and only grow to have a leg span of 5 inches. That doesn't make sense in light of the picture unless the picture is a fake.
Ahh...here we go. This website explains the picture. The camera angle makes them look bigger than they are. Notice the human hand in the top right.

You know they run in packs, and smell fear just like dogs. The longer you wait to confront this creature, the more friends he will enlist. When you enter your kitchen next, there will three or four of them at least, with one assuredly perched just above the kitchen doorway.
