There are a lot of wolves here, but they don't come after you like that, unless they are really hungry. They generally just walk away.
yesterday the newspaper said that a 59-year-old salesman got stuck on the same road in 1995. he stayed in his vehicle marking off the days for 9 and a half weeks, and two teenagers found him the next spring, dead of starvation.
also, that the road is only be used to service a lodge up there, and that it had a locked gate, but someone cut the chain sometime in the few weeks before the Kims went up there.

i guess he should have tried to build a signal fire. assuming he wasn't above the tree line and could get wood.
