I think we should all design a Monte Python version of a Spam Filter. We could have it do fun things to the originator's computer... just use your imagination...
My first idea is to have it periodically Blare "I am a Lumberjack" on their computer using their appointments in their Outlook calendar to 'time' it appropriately. 😉
Originally posted by CFCI'm looking into it but I think it is a function performed by our Anti-Virus system at work. It's a new function that Norton has begun to provide. I'll check with our IT guys to see. It may not be available yet for the regular consumer (unless you want to pay for the enterprise version).
What do you mean by another package?

These are all really good suggestions being said but the thing is my brother used to get these sort of e-mails and he asked 1 of his teachers how to get rid of them and his teacher told him how and now he hardly gets any.
Originally posted by CFCThe better question is, where can I get a good filter for irrelevant postings from babbling people who have nothing better to do than to sit around and look like a jackass.
Newstand? Library? What's that?😳🙄
Dear Moderator,
I went to a library and looked up the meaning of the word jackass in Websters. The defination is as follows:
Jackass (n)
1. A male ass or donkey.
2. A foolish or stupid person; a blockhead: “You've acted like an irrational jackass and it's time you stopped” (Margaret Truman).
Either one works in this case and it was even used in a quote by none other than the daughter of one of our better Presidents.
So, before you edit the word jackass out of this post, please consider the above defination and the context in which it was used.
Best regards,
Bill

Yep, buy a Mac, download Safari, and check the "block pop-ups" option in preferences. Problem solved,

Boooo! Hissss! 😉
I work with Macs and PCs at work. Some of my frustrations may have just boiled over so please take this post with a sense of humor. 🙂
