If a Tournament is for grades 1700 to 1800. How does some people below this gtrade get into it sich as being graded 1050 for example?

Hi, and welcome to the general forum, these kind of questions belong in the help forum, were you should have created a thread.... anyhow tournament entry is granted by something which is called tournament entry rating. A player can a have a tournament entry rating of 1750, but an actual rating around 1600. The Tournament Entry Rating is calculated by the formula (CurrentRating + HighestRating) / 2. The entry rating will never drop to more than 100 points below your Highest Rating over the last year.

I got a post deleted yesterday. Someone said they didn't like Gordon Brown because he smiled funny, and i said "He has half his face paralysed and a glass eye. You must think stroke victims are right bastards". That was deleted, and the mod sent me a message saying it was alerted because it was "offensive to stroke victims". I'll let that sink in rather than spend time explaining how retarded that was.

How long do you think it wouldv'e taken a bunch of stroke guys to alert a post enough to get it deleted? I mean, it would be hard to type with just one hand, right? Or...maybe it was one troll with a clean the forum attitude, and a mod who licks the wrong type of bottom. What do you think?
