I recall using the word "apparently."

I was not offering a pro-GB stance, so there's no reason to pretend, thanks. I am offering the ribald position that the health of the forum is t ...[text shortened]... g dialogue of folks from all backgrounds/positions with him returning to the forum?[/b]
Because if the "apparently" is true, it makes you a tard. Duh.
Well then you need to reconsider how you approach it, because at the moment, you're pretty much coming across as his posterboy.
That's posterman-child to you.
This part, obviously.
It's a two-parter! For which part of the two-parter are you asking clarification?
... you yourself had admitted that you loved when he gets other people's backs up...
I get major giggles out of watching highly intelligent and otherwise sensible people such as yourself become so undone at something so obvious. I admit it is one of the funniest things I have seen in my five years here. The shorthand Punch-and-Judy follies are classical, priceless.
Please, don't stop!

I suppose that depends on what we could do together if there wasn't a GB presence here. I remember when the forums were like that and I'm not wishing for nostalgic return to the golden ages or anything, I just think there's a way to get a colaborative, and vibrantly entertaining forum, without the upset which GB brings.

I don't generally find much in Freaky's arguments to side with, but I'm with him on this - aren't the forums just so much more vibrant and entertaining when there's a bit of healthy disagreement on the menu?
While GB was gone, I saw people posting who haven't been in the GF in ages - people who did make the GF an interesting and vibrant forum. Like Starrman, I'm not about to wax nostalgia about the good ol' days before Grampy Blight but I found the contrast between him here and him gone to be remarkable.
Now that he's back, sucking as much attention to himself as possible and threads are being created solely to support or attack him, it's again becoming a place to leave. It's a shame.

Name names.

Paranoia will destroy ya.
So who is guilty of giving him all this supposed unwarranted attention? Why, the very people who make the forum so engaging: people like Starrman!
Brilliant!

The forum was so much better when you all weren't being tools.
