With ivanhoe's latest post about Kennedy, I thought I'd share this with everyone. This is honestly the most mind-blowing thing I've ever read:

Have a history teacher explain this - - - - -if he/she can.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln's Secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your ! seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford. . .'
Kennedy was shot in a car called 'Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a
warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid
in a theater

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
And here's the kicker. . .

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.
Creepy huh?

Yeah, but Oswald didn't kill Kennedy.

Have you ever been to the assissination museum? I suppose it was named such after the assissination, by the way.

Have you ever looked out through the window where Oswald is supposed to have shot from?
Have you ever thought to yourself: "No bloody way!!!"

Besides, the bullet came from a totally different angle altogether.

John Wilkes Booth might have been captured alive but for a mentally ill union soldier named Boston Corbett who said that he heard voices telling him to kill Booth. I first read about him in a book entitled "Great American Misfits".

Booth was not killed. He escaped, with help from the Federal Government, and lived for many years in Texas and Oklahoma. The man thought to have been Booth was a Confederate officer named Boyd, picked because of his resemblence to Booth. Lincoln was killed by a conspiracy lead by Secretary of State Edwin Stanton,Radical Republicans, and monied interests, who violently opposed the "soft" peace Lincoln would have given to the South. Mary Surratt,an innocent woman, went to the gallows,as part of the cover-up.

OK, I'll give you that Mary Surratt was only guilty of running the boarding house where the conspirators stayed, but the rest is nonsense.

It is not nonsense. 3 witnesses were coerced into saying that the body they saw was that of Booth, even tho the body had red hair instead of black, was several inches taller than Booth, and was missing several prominant scars Booth had on his body. The murder of Mary Surratt is still one of the biggest disgraces the U.S.has ever perpetrated.
