I wanna take my wife to Kew. I have searched richmond.com and the rest and it seems there is little available for this sunday 18th. Can anybody help please?
I imagine you would have little chance booking this late considering it is the weekend just after Valentine's.

However, there are umpteen hotels/hostels/B&Bs in Central London and getting on a tube from even the centre of London to Richmond isn't that hard.

Originally posted by mikelomI was thinking of actually booking for Kew Gardens itself, although I just found out that you don't have to pre-book (never been there before, although do have family living close by. 😕 ). Was thinking that a lot of people would push forward their Valentine's events to the weekend. Anyway, I figure you should be alright.

I think getting the train down would be the best option. Easiest is to then go to Richmond and then it is about ten minutes on the train or district line from there.
