Anybody noticed that these two play each other all the time and Kicking always wins? ðŸ˜

😵 I don't know what I meant now, I'm all confused. I think it started cos I looked at the rating chart for Arf and it was a really strange pattern. I looked at his public games and they were all against the same player. I just found it strange. Maybe I'll just go and lie down in the corner for a while and see if I can get out of this straight-jacket....
which is moredamaging to the site - people playing themselves to artificially increase their rating or people highlighting the fact?
It's rather like people having stories of violent crime highlighted to them all the time - if they get to the stage where they are afraid to leave their homes which has done more harm, the original crimes or the over publicising of them. If people start to think that cheating is widespread it will diminish their enjoyment of the site, which is more damaging to the site than the original cheating was.
If you have a concern then highlight it to the bosses, but if you highlight it on the forums then I think is causes more harm than good. Especially if you're wrong!
Fair comment but with the amount of "accusations" flying around the forums you're going to have your work cut out to stop people expressing their concerns.
I for one am now going to stop participating in this type of debate and will concentrate on playing thoughtful, fair and friendly chess. If people wish to cheat themselves and others, then they're the ones who have to sleep at night. 😀
So to all lovers of chess I wish you luck and fortune in your lives, and to the cheaters I say "get a life".
