I was working at the computer deep in the night, and couldn't sleep afterwards, so I watched Oscar ceremony.
Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters performed Blackbird on a guitar during In Memoriam.
Awkward choice - I mean Dave Grohl not the song - at least for me, since I remembered Foo Fighters gig in Amsterdam in July.
Dave said something at the end of the gig which I didn't like (*what he'd said not the concert), namely, he said "Do you remember the first day Kurt Cobain didn't show up at the work?!"
I thought then in Amsterdam - "that was dumb thing to say!"...
Ennio Morricone finally got it in his 6th nomination, and he should have got it for Untouchables.
Louis C. K. was the best of all presenters, his jokes of Best Short Documentary were hilarious.
Stallone had a strange skin colour - as he slept in a solarium.
And supporting role winner Mark Rylance is a spitting image of Leiceseter's coach Claudio Ranieri:
