Are they worth getting?
I want to spend less that 700 squid. but want good speed and wireless/bluetooth/ lots of memory.
Any one got recommendations?
Plenty of dancers, and for the cost of a couple of extortionate bottles of champagne, you could easily get a lap dance at a good pace, with no strings/wires attached and blueberry WKD stained teeth. Only problem will be the memory, they'll forget you once you've gone.
200 notes should suffice for one or you could probably get 4 top of the range in your lap for 699 bar I reckon, that's a stiff discount.
Let me know how you get on.

Widescreen stylish. DVD burner, wireless, seems to do everything I ask it to although it is only 40gb this hasn't been a prob so far.

Unless you've got the bucks to afford a good one they tend to give more trouble than they're worth. I llok forward to the day that they're reliable and economically priced just as mobile phones, dvd players and so are, compared to when they first came upon the market....So if u ot the bucks go for it, but if you're poor like me then you'll have to wait a few years where reliability will come with an economic price...Psychologically speaking I gues I'm a bit angst ridden that I cant afford a good laptop, maybe with a tinge of jealousy..hmmm, hope not....

I have a desktop and could use that for word et so I'm not too worried about everything else just the net....If they could bring out a small laptop just for the net I think they'd be a big market for it...Just like they brought out potable dvd laptops.

i've got an acer travelmate. it was about £700 althought my dads boss paid the VAT for some reason...it's about a year old, and nothing exceptional. 256 or RAM, about 1.4Ghz processor etc.-nothing top spec. but it does have a long battery life and a built-in wireless connection, which is rather handy for surfing in the union. it does the buisness-i mean, it's better than i need. all i use mine for is surfing the net and programming. if you want to play games, get a desktop. if you don't want to play games and don't mind waiting for your computer to start up, shop around for a cheap one with a long battery life and a slot for a wireless card and all is good...

I bought a Sony VAIO. Best on the planet and it docks my camera's memory stick. No cables. Pentium 2.8 mhz, 512 DDR Ram, DVD/CDRom +-RW, inboard modem and wireless, 17" LCD. But you'll need more than 700 nicker.

you only use a CPU of 2.8 Megahertz.
