Is the font larger? I didn't notice anything. I did notice there was larger spacing between the lines though.

You can increase/decrease the font size anyway with "CTRL +" and "CTRL -" respectively.

i dunno, i just use whatever the mail client uses.

which i guess is probably Helvetica, for Thunderbird.

but it only matters if you indicate the receiver can receive HTML email. otherwise font doesn't apply (Thunderbird will compose it without formatting).
