I have seen the movie now and am impressed. It is only vaguely associated with the famous short story though.
About what I figured though. I didn't go see it.
And Ender's Game is a little longer than a short story.
Bah, never mind, I see you're talking about The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
As I announced, today was the Cinematheque day - triple program with
Louis de Funes.
1. Le gendarme de Saint-Tropez (16.30)
A silly comedy but classics. Slapstick.
2. Fantomas (18.30)
This is the first film of the serial.
3. The Exchange Student (20.30)
Again crazy slapstick comedy with great sound track from the sixties.
We saw Dallas Buyers Club today. Hard, gritty, If anyone wants to appreciate the reality and culture of the early HIV/AIDs era in the US of the 80s, and doesn't already, this is it -- the so-called invincible generation should see it. And great performances. Otherwise, it's a miss. Probably won't work as well on home TV.

I have just been to the movies and seen 'Philomena' - it's a good film, good acting and also a true story.

Originally posted by lolofSorry -- I got distracted. I had no prior interest in the movie because all I'd heard of it was the title. I read the article and was both fascinated and horrified. Thanks for posting it!
