Against clutter and futility and a crushing sense of despair that this could ever have a chance of being the last word, I rouse myself to post this nonetheless that it might give sprouting generations hope against hopelessness, or at least the will to struggle on against overwhelming odds.

P.S. to VR -- Also, I do admire your commitment, which is more than I could ever muster. But I imagine that to some it just comes naturally.
