I've got an electric, corded one that mulches, with a 100 ft. extension cord so I can reach the whole yard. Just gotta be mindful I don't run over the cord.

I'm becoming a bigger and bigger believer in the use of electric mowers, saws, tools etc. It's one less engine you have to take care of (petrol), and if you've got to make certain you don't run over the cord that's all right. With a gas powered unit there are other safety concerns as well.
Happy motoring, er, uh, ... mowing I mean.
