So, how long did it take me to build it? Time will be measured in hours, as well as beer and cigarette breaks.

P-
Tell us the truth, it's not a lego castle, you're adding on to your kitchen.
hahahahahaha

You've got me opening 12 or so bags, somewhat sorting pieces, reading instructions... and STILL placing a piece every 11 seconds.

Ok, that changes things. 1300 pieces. Hmmmm.

7 hours/4 bathroom breaks/half pack cigs/six pack.

and

http://www.amazon.com/gp/pdp/profile/A3DH3W9QKM46EN/ref=cm_pdp_pop_prof_name 8 year old son managed it in 2 and 1/2 hours

I would have thought a man with your abilities would have managed it quicker than an 8 year old child! 😛

This Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle is one of the Top Christmas Gift 2010 for boys arround 8 - 14 years old.

Maybe you and your huckleberry friend can grab a few bags of Doritos, a six-pack of Dr. Peppers and spend the weekend putting it together (make sure you get your parents' permission, of course).

Hey now, kids these days can also program your Betamax to record your favorite programs at a certain time as well as set your telnet protocol so you can visit the world wide web.

Give an old man a break!

Cripes, it wasn't for me! It was for my son. I got a remote control helicopter as well as an electronic Rubik's Cube... thank you very much.

Elec.... what!!!??! That must be one of the most pointless "innovations" ever. What good is a Rubik's Cube without the clever innards and the tactile enjoyment?

It's called a Rubik's Slide... it's interesting... I used it half an hour and solved all sorts of little puzzles... and went back to the cube.

I like how the people in the vid act like they know what there doing... I'm starting to get a feel for it, but it is NOT the cube.
