I wish Rusty the Parliamentarian were online at the moment, but I think it might be either mentioned or strongly implied in the Forum Guidelines and Terms of Service -- or maybe some kind of Community Standard has developed independently over time -- but I gather we are expected to treat PMs as private messages and not reveal their contents to others.

On a tangent re: community standards, I have learned my lesson about making comments regarding other members' better halves, which means I will try to stay my hand regarding Dive's better half, FMF.

TLDR

I know what you mean. I have about two or three thousand books in my house, but never was much of a reader, and nowadays feel that despite all I do read on the internet, my capacity for reading at length has diminished from what was already at a low level.

To paraphrase Pascal: regrets for not taking the time to make my post shorter.

P.S. -- strange that we have people in society who decry "virtue-signaling" (and who knows why) but none or not so many who decry "literacy-signaling".
