Let's all move to Detroit.

Let's all move to Detroit.

Yeah! You got that right.
This place in Michigan is out of sight.
Looks like they're out of money too.
Can you spare a dime or two?

What about the guy who said yes we can?
What's he doin'? Has he got a plan?
$18 billion dollars down the hole.
Can anyone help? What's your role?

Run across the border like a refugee.
Ain't no jobs left in Motor City.
Businesses and homes boarded up and gone.
Tell me now where did you go wrong?

Washington say they have no means.
Same old story just like New Orleans.
In that Disaster Bush didn't care.
It was a black city, white folk don't go there.

But if you want to get along, then change your ways.
It's about commerce baby, it's not about race.
We're all one human family, light or dark.
That's the truth and yes it's quite stark.

Time to put aside issues of colour.
You'r gonna have to get along with one another.
Time to move on from Zimmerman and Martin.
Let's all join together, it's time you were startin'.

I see a vision, it's not far away.
Detroit is going to rise again great some day.
Don't let it fall into urban decay.
Let it rise from the ashes without delay.

When will America live up to it's creed?
Cities should prosper without corruption and greed.
A city is a city, not just white or black.
Join together now and bring prosperity back.

"Woodbridge-Lots of other young people, its quieter than most of the city. Close to Midtown, century old trees lining the streets. Lots of energy and visioning going on there. Folks really take ownership of their space: Community gardens, a refreshed The Hole Park. folks really just go for walks. Commonwealth Street may be the most pleasant place to be outside of Belle Isle on a summer day. I think the pub may be overrated, but that just means one of these new people has to open something else, hopefully a bit more low key. SW-Good walkable access to retail, esp along W Vernor. close to the river. Strong community.

Downtown-I don't know if that's the MOST self explanatory. I always thought that my friends who lived downtown existed in this little island where everything you needed was far away. especially late at night. alas, this can be said about a lot of Detroit. cool." (socks mahoney)

Great Plan for adventurous Red Hot Pawn members, johnnylongwoody. If you become our mayor, gb's in.

I would only move there if the government gave me all the house to rent out

There are some really nice parts of Detroit.

Cash St, and Tin Can Alley. Been there, seen it, done it.
