I like when I send a "hello and good luck" message and it's answered by " I don't believe in luck" or my favorite " yes good luck to you cause you'll need it".... Yet I still continue to send my warm little greeting. Some don't respond, sometimes if I have respect for my opponent I will even send a greeting in their native tongue, to the best of my ability anyway.

What has happened to a friendly "hello" and / or "Good Luck" greeting when starting a game.
Of about twenty open invites that I have posted, only one has been accepted with a greeting by an accepting opponent.

EDIT: call me reactive, but given the nature of the medium (the internet) i think it is justified.
