Lies

Lies

General

2 years ago I caught her in a lie.
(Not cheating)
Recently I caught her in a lie.
(Not cheating)

Is it time to move on?
The first thing I ever said to her was don't lie.

I can't trust a liar.

What say you?

Everyone lies.

Just know she can't be trusted in the areas she has lied.

If you can't handle lies, you probably can't handle long term relationships. Nobody is perfect, good liars are the only ones who can look like they are.

You are right that everyone lies but in a relationship?
I can't handle that.

Even in relationships. The only question is if the topic of the lie is one that can be forgiven and lived with.

Well both lies were when I asked a direct question and she lied to my face both times only to be found out later.

After the first time I said don't ever lie to me again.

Well it happened again.

She ain't rich or anything so their is that to consider 🤔

Probably best to move on.
I was destined to marry a midget and by golly I will do that!

...can't believe I said "by golly" 😔

Well it's seems a liar has given us a thumbs down 🤔

Buy her chocolates.

Help her eat them.

A gift combined with an act of generosity, the perfect gentleman!

Very rarely argue with my own wife but it always ends in me buying her chocolates. If I feel I caused the argument I don't eat any of them, but If I (secretly) believe she caused the argument then I will invariably eat a couple. (A subtle restoration of justice perhaps).

it would have cut no ice with my wife she used to manage a branch of thorntons, and i would not eat them no sweet tooth plus diabetic.

Sadly, this now makes your BMI a measure of how often you think you are wrong. You have to watch your weight or be judged!

@The-Pickled-Walrus

Leave or you will keep this agony.
