You are right that everyone lies but in a relationship?
I can't handle that.
Probably a good reason for you to get drunk eh? 😉

Never married.
God no....never.
No kids either.

We decided to move on ...just remain friends.

If I lose a game of chess (it does happen) then I dissect the game afterward to see what I could have done better.

My (unsolicited) advice sir is do likewise with your recent breakup. Absolutely it is not cool for a partner to lie, but perhaps also ask the question of yourself "Why did she feel the need to do so?" Do you perhaps have a temper she was trying to avoid, do you have trust issues? Are you an unforgiving person? - Use this as an opportunity to become a better man and have better relationships in the future.

Agony Ghost.

Trust is everything.

You must know somebody to trust him, and you must trust him to love him,

Life it self is a learning experience. I don't know if two people were made to be together for life. I know many who have and appear happy in public. I don't see what they are like at home though. I've seen people who I thought were quite happy break up which come as a shock at first, now it is just another long term couple breaking up. The average marriage in Hollywood lasts 5 years according to a survey I looked at not that long ago.
