Gil,

I believe there are many thousands on this site, and millions of
others who desire peacemaking above war. I just know that it always
takes time for the messages to get out. Faith, my friend. We're all
here.

Well, I've got one hand to offer from here in Seattle. The other hand
is trying to retain its grasp on my constitutional rights to privacy, to be
free from unwanted search & seizure, to openly dissent against the
cynical imperialistic foreign policies that have caused (but do not
justify) the acts of aggression against us. I hope others here in the
states also remain wary. With all the jingoistic patriotism in the air, its
easy to lose sight of what makes America great, and that is the
promise (largely unfulfilled) of a true democracy.
