i was drinking tesco's own enery drink the other night, "kick". but it was my substiture for alcohol (a long and complicated story) so i ended up drinking two 1-litre bottles of it. then i read the bottle. "one 200ml serving contains 300% rds of vitamin B12". then i discover that apparently they're getting sued as it's meant to read 3000%. per 200 ml. so i had, what, 30'000% of my rda in one night?...oops...
Hehe, B12 toxicity....
Vitamin B12 Toxicity
Vitamin B12 has a very low potential for toxicity. The tolerable upper intake level (UL) for vitamin B12 from dietary sources and supplements combined has not been determined. This does not mean that there is no potential for adverse effects resulting from high intakes. Because data is limited, caution should be used when supplementing.
No symptoms of vitamin B12 toxicity have been reported.
Lucky dog, some toxicity symptoms are really odd
