I will be in Liverpool for an evening, taking the ferry to Dublin early next morning.
What pretty things cannot be missed during those few hours of spare time in Liverpool? Any old buildings open in the evening?
And is the dock for the ferries to Dublin easy to find?
but since you most be there for a night, maybe check out the airport 😵
actually in the (thinking) 4, 5? times i've been in liverpool the only thing of interest was the beatles museum (not sure of it's proper name) other than that, liverpool is a dull, boring city. (awaits backlash) and they have the worst accent in the world. really. plus 70% of it's populations are idiots...the other 30% not being born there...so you have to question their sanity 😉
again i have nothing but praise for it's airport.

Ah thank you. So, Liverpool is boring, and the only thing to watch is a museum that is probably closed after my arrival very late in the afternoon? No pretty buildings and bridges then to walk around or over or through, to admire?

Lots of info in there to do, if you like the Beatles (as mentioned above) check out the Cavern Club too in Matthews Street where they made their fame. Have a good stay

galway is nice, in fact the whole drive down the west coast of ireland is very nice.
btw why the ferry? why not just fly from amsterdam to belfast for about 50 euro return on easy jet?
Originally posted by rmackenThank you. Not much of a Beatles fan, but I'll think I'll walk around Strawberry Fields.
