Last time I saw a pan of scouse on the bar was at a now closed pub in Anfield, but that was a free bowl of scouse with your beer. Eating either beetroot or red cabbage with scouse is still a tradition. Majority eat beetroot, I like the red cabbage.

When I was a kid the first person in the house in the New Year had to carry a lump of coal but that may have come via my grandmother who was from Roker.

We have a tradition, in our family, of seeing the local pantomime every Christmas school holiday. Now it's being asked, "is it really Christmas if there's no panto?"

Some claim you can see them better from the U.S. than on the Canadian side. The tours under them can be fun and very safe along with the rain gear, you also wear life jackets. I haven't heard of an accident happening as of yet. I don't know what is going on right now with the Pandemic.

Wrong.

The American side sees little.

The Canadian side sees everything.

It is powerful and a lot bigger than people expect.
I go there a few times a year.
Lots of games and fun stuff to do.
Haunted houses and rides and a casino and shows.
Like a mini Vegas.
