Of course Apple say Flash is dead, it's a mainstay of the Creative Suites package and as such is in direct opposition to Apple's Final Cut Studio etc. Personally, I don't buy it, Adobe is still huge in the Production industry and will remain so for a long time yet and as long as Flash is still part of their package it will too.
