Depends on which side of the road it is. Afternoon/evening the sun would be going down in the west (slight southerly direction), so if the pub is on the north east side, it will be facing the sun. 😕

I will come by train from the direction Crewe (North).
From the Ashley Hotel to the pub, it is also a short walk. See map at the beginning of the thead and look for Norfolk Square which is close to Paddington. Go up Sussex Gardens till you reach Edgeware Road, turn right then next left into Crawford St, then next right into Brendon St.

From Euston to King's Cross it is one stop using northern line southbound (Make sure you get the city branch). You can get to Edgware Road from King's Cross using either the Hammersmith and City Line or Circle Line westbound.
