Looked at the map and Brendon St goes from north west to south east.

Depends on which side of the road it is. Afternoon/evening the sun would be going down in the west (slight southerly direction), so if the pub is on the north east side, it will be facing the sun. 😕
It is.

No it doesn't, but it is quite small and if memory serves correctly it has big windows that open. Let's just hope it doesn't face the sun!
There's always cool, refreshing beer to cool us down.

Can somebody easily explain me how I will get to the Ashley Hostel and from there to the meeting place?

I will come by train from the direction Crewe (North).

If travelling from Crewe, you will be arriving at Euston Station (which is on the northern line). Ashley Hotel is just round the corner from Paddington station (Norfolk Square). Easiest way would be to leave Euston Station and walk to Euston Square station (turn right on the main road at the front and it would be a few mins walk on the right) which is on the Hammersmith and City Line. This would take you directly to Paddington Station.

From the Ashley Hotel to the pub, it is also a short walk. See map at the beginning of the thead and look for Norfolk Square which is close to Paddington. Go up Sussex Gardens till you reach Edgeware Road, turn right then next left into Crawford St, then next right into Brendon St.

I just found out that I have booked a room at the Ashlee House (not Ashley). Freddie gave me the phone number.

I am more than confused now. Where is this damned place?

Can someone give me an easy way description to the Ashlee House and from there to the pub.

Anyway, thanks lausey!

Ok, in light of this new information. Ashlee House is right next to King's Cross Station. From Euston to King's Cross it is one stop using northern line southbound (Make sure you get the city branch). You can get to Edgware Road from King's Cross using either the Hammersmith and City Line or Circle Line westbound.

EDIT:

Get a printout of the underground map.

A mobile phone would do, unless you don't have a phone. You could both set up a board and relay the moves over the phone.

I forgot to mention that he'd need at least two gorillas to force me into playing that incredibly boring game.

Especially if he's planning to time me out again when I'm about to win due to my connection going down.
