Sheesh. It timed you out, not me. Not my fault you got a crap connection.

I have become aware that there are going to be some closures on some underground lines this weekend:

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/unlinked/tube-posters/july06/Map-29-30-july.pdf

Based on that (for the benefit of gambit05), to get from King's Cross to Edgware Road, take the Victoria line southbound to Oxford Circus and the bakerloo line northbound to Edgware Road. 😕

Edit: Found a more efficient route.

Thanks a lot,

I think with yours and Freddies help I got it now. I was confused by searching for the wrong Hotel, which didn't fit with your description.

Just to be sure: The Ashlee Hotel is near Camden, approx. 2 km West of Regents Park, and the Pub Wargrave Arms is North of the Hyde Park and therefore West of the Hotel. The distance (direct) is about 6-7 km.

Well, hopefully we will see us on Saturday.

Pick me up from south London while you are on your way.

Thanks. 🙂

At this moment in time I'm confident I'll be there. I haven't booked any accomodation yet, so might have to stay sober and drive back up.

Should I carry my piece incase of trouble?
Should I bring my pick-axe to collect some of the gold that lines the pavement?
Will Dick Whittington be at the pub? What about the Queen?

Yeah, you might get to use it on rednight.

No, the pikeys already took it.

Will Dick Whittington be at the pub?

No, he only drinks at the Jeremy Bentham.

What about the Queen?

I know, crazy isn't it?

What time are people getting there? If I show up at 2:00, will I be waiting uncomfortably with people I've never met before? Should I be fashionably late, as my obvious stature requires?

Late afternoon / early evening for me. I have a short attention span, plus if I got to London any earlier I'd have to go record shopping and I really can't afford it.

I just hope some of you brucking gerks are still sober when I arrive.

Should be around earlyish again, although I'll try not to be the first one through the doors again.
