I heard one of the police only carried a stick and was cut up in the face by one of the attackers.

Armed police were on the scene (and had taken them down) within 8 minutes. The fact that a brave police officer had gotten there first and attempted to stop them without a gun doesn't detract from this speedy response.

These horrible deeds are planned and executed in countries where the assassins often lived, worked and had their education. I just can't find words for these criminals.
