@Paul-Martin ; In my opinion number one is health number 2 adaptation 3 discipline respect and loyalty.
So we have
* genetic disposition (thank you parents, grandparents,...for choosing good partners if you are lucky in that category).
* the mindset If you choose to be happy you will be more happy than your next person who chooses to be unhappy (often not a conscious choice). You can do something here.
* eat well. Well ness is not only determined by energy content and composition, but also be being happy while eating.
* lifestyle Use your body, what you don't use you lose (and don't overdo it!)

I have a friend who at 95 still has the occasional cigarette, can eat as much as I do, loves a cake and even downed a double Baileys Irish Cream at 10pm one night. Her only issue is failing sight but she still walks up to the shop or catches a bus into town.
