About 2 hours more dylight than the Winter solstice. The closer to the Summer solstice, the smaller the increase.

I'm sure the northern hemisphere folk all know that it's winter in the southern hemisphere, but I may be wrong. 🙃 I've been wrong before.

Sorry, meant 2 minutes. That comes to approx 60 mins per month on those 6 that fall between Dec 21st and June 21st.

Yes. We southern hemisphericals have a right to be recognized. Northern hemispherism is way bigger than a mere micro-aggression.

I concur, despite living one degree north of the equator (and thus do we enjoy a difference in daylight hours of about half an hour through the year, 12 hours of daylight, 12 hours of darkness, give or take) The north - south divide must be avoided, equality between the hemispheres, I say!

Well in my part of the world it sure is…flat. Nary a hillock in sight. Pancake like as far as I can see.
