Looking around the internet I haven't found anything especially appropriate, mostly in terms of what it can actually do, for example, it should be able to change the format, line spacing, copying, addition and deletion of text, etc. I did find something produced by Docudesk that was able to convert documents from pdf into the word document format, but its capabilities were limited until it was purchased.

Any ideas?

Interestingly this was the first thing I tried, as I had said I had not found anything especially appropriate on the internet, and as the way the internet goes these days, wikipedia is the first place you look.

Converters suck. I've never found one that actually works.

Not exactly easy to use, it formats it in word horribly, but I suppose I'll make do until I find something better.

edit: christ, I'm not sure how it managed it, but when converting it, it didn't even convert the file into a4 sized paper on word.

Oh I give up, this things useless.

That defeats the entire point, there shouldn't be any need to rewrite it all, just so you can rearrange, annotate, and delete certain parts per your discretion.

Idon't know if this is good enough for what you have in mind, but the free allows you a lot of control on pdf files.
