In my neck of the woods summer is one week away!!!

Anyone have any special plans for the summer?

I may take a little trip to the southern tip of our province for a few weeks. A little place on an Island which is joined to the mainland by a causeway. I've been told they now hold boat races near the causeway in the summer which attracts a lot of folks.

Summer when I was a kid meant playing baseball. Hotdogs and burgers on the grill outdoors. Chasing girls. 🙂

I guess you wouldn't mind summer if you live in the ice 10 months out of the year.

Here we're waiting for our first 110 degree day. The first of many, no doubt.

So stuff your cheerful "oooooh, I can't wait for summer" post. Remind me to post a similar inane thread about Looking Forward to Winter in December.

You obviously know NOTHING about CANADA if you believe we have ice 10 months of the year! 😛

Stop your crying, & buy a air-conditioner.

You could move if you don't like the climate you're living in.

I love our 4 seasons, so feel free to post as you please within the TOS, I always do! 😛 😉 😉

Been there, glad to be back in a cooler zone of sorts. Well power is more accessible here and the A/C unit is much stronger. 🙂
