I wonder how they're going to handle Walt, as the actor who played him has probably reached drinking age by now. Did you notice how much he had grown when Locke saw him from the bottom of that hole?

You're confusing a complicated plot for a plot which gets made up as it goes along. You're missing nothing more than the collective writers' semen sprayed in the faces of the fools that give it time, until they can't actually see the TV for milky, post-coital adoration.
Bah! It's pioneering and revolutionary television.

There are always those who oppose the revolution. Their heads usually end up on stakes...

Yeah, scary, a sofa-bound revolution. Fear is creeping up my spine as we speak.

Held like water in you shaking hands,
are all the small defeats a day demands.
10-6 or 9-5 trying, dying to survive.
Never knowing what survival means.

Leave the apartment to buy alcohol.
Hang our diplomas on the bathroom wall.
Pick at the plaster chipped away, survey some stunning tooth decay, enlist the cat in the impending class-war.

Let's lay our bad day down here, dear
and make-believe we're strong,
or hum some protest song.
Like maybe "We Shall Overcome Someday."
Overcome the stupid things we say.
Say I needed more than this, say I needed one more kiss.
We left that light on way too long now.

Let's plant a bomb at city-hall and kill an MLA.
We'll talk the night away.
You call in sick, I'll quit the word-games that I play.
I swear I way more than half believe it when I say
that somewhere love and justice shine.
Cynicism falls asleep.
Tyranny talks to itself.
Sappy slogans all come true.
We forget to feed our fear.

So, any verdicts?

I found the opener to be a bit on the cheese side but I like where the plot is headed for this season.

What happened to all the Others I wonder?

I'm sure you can find them all over the web. I don't want to spoil anything in this thread.

That is one thing about Lost that has always made me nuts...the unfinished/abandoned storylines. They hook you, then let you down. The constant changes are probably what keep me watching, though. I like the future scenes quite a bit. Jack is such a crybaby.
