Another approach to dangling a subscribe-carrot before you [that the powers-that-be could use] would be simply to tell you the answer is "yes".

We subscribers don't get to see ads. I'm not feeling particularly deprived, of course. 🙂

I make it a matter of principle to click on whatever ad i am presented with and purchase whatever they are selling.

(I am of course an eccentric millionaire).
