Here in equatorial Indonesia we're deep in the rainy season, where at sea -
level temperatures can plummet to 26 degrees C, (25C has even been recorded at night) brrrr......
Poor guy -- you'd better bundle up! 😉

Sometimes we have to think twice before jumping into the swimming pool. People don't realise how much we suffer.

Our weather is all messed up Climate change is here has been for years, people just wouldn't admit it. We are currently experiencing rain, suppose to turn to freezing rain, drop to -7 then snow, winds around 100 km's an hour. Hopefully we will get more rain than snow. Another Northwester coming our way. We could lose power. Seems every little wind we get now or storm we lose our power. I hope it makes a liar out of me and we don't lose it. 🙂

Have you checked with Spider Robinson? He might have some ideas re: heated domes over the maritime provinces.

Jeeze,
They were calling for snow mixed with rain and the better half said we needed a few things at the store. Everything was clear so away we went. I told her if the dirty weather started I'd come in and get her. Sure enough after she was in for about 20 minutes it started. I went in and got her. While in the check out I looked outside and it had stopped.
We were wondering if we should go pick up a hot chocolate for her and couple of Coffee for me. We are only 10 minutes away, so I decided what the hell. All was good going up just a few flurries nothing serious. Then on the way back it started again snow only and coming down so hard I could barely see the front of the hood on my Van. I waited a few minutes until I could see a little further. I rarely if ever drive in bad weather for about the past Decade unless caught in it. Good thing I know the street/road as I couldn't see much except the car directly in front of me. I slid a few times but nothing serious and was going only about 40 km's in a 70 zone, that is how bad it was. I haven't driven in weather like that in a very long time.
Wouldn't you know as soon as we got parked and in the driveway it stopped. I must admit I had a few anxious moments. Our weather is so unpredictable!!! I know many of you will be so happy I am alive and safe. 🙂

When I was a kid, living in Anchorage, I joined a curling team, it HAS to be cold for that sport🙂

Make it big enough and it could cover the entire planet! I guess you would have to have flaps that open up to allow spacecraft to fly through on their way to Alpha Centauri....

Only if you curled outside which I assume you did. Something I never got into.
