I fear you might be right! Home game against Barnet earlier in the season and we were well and truly tonked 3-0. Our Conference form though recently has been the best in the league, winning five of our last six - including 4-0 at home and 2-1 ...[text shortened]... th...one of the teams who I believe beat Barnet just recently...😉
Most footballers (everybody? ) have head problems after a match like tonight. I know United have been shyte at the weekend after doing brilliantly in Europe midweek. If I had a tenner (I would have too is Chris hadn't let me into the little secret that Partick were a banker tonight), it would definitely be going on Barnet.

I think Barnet are very likely to win but I doubt they'll represent good value at the bookies. They've only lost twice all season, are at home, against a team that's coming off a hugely emotional high. Smart money, if I had tenner, would probably go on there being more than three goals in that game (we've scored a fair few away from home and Barnet will be well up for the game after the 'fame' and attention Exeter have been receiving). Either that or some obscure mid-table match that the bookies won't have researched so thoroughly.
Not an unsurprising result - I am, even for a Man City fan, totally delighted, this is of course mainly down to a £200 bet place on a Man United 2-0 victory.
Great, great fan display by Exeter, I really hope you all enjoyed the evening. The Nevilles are always a fine target for justified chanting. In a tram of undoubted talent, their presence continues to b e somewat of a mystery. Given that I bought my house off lurch ( Phill Neville, to the uninitiated ) I am constantly amused by the success, fame, classic footballer wife etc, achieved to date, but, fair play, we would all do the same.
Should be a very interesting season herein. Predictions? well, this should be, and no doubt will be a new thread, but here is my shout.
Premisership
1) Chelsea ( but by less than 5 points )
2) Arsenal
3) Man United.
Champions League:
Arsenal, with Chelsea making it to at least the last 4.
FA Cup
Man Utd.
League Cup
Liverpool
Relegation
WBA
Norwich
Southampton
( these are based on watching the current bottom 6 at home games )
Man City to finish 8th, erm, maybe.
