The ears would make it reactive, I suppose. But I've never bowled more than an 89, so I wouldn't know.

You don't have to bowl well to understand it. I find your point valid and must assume his head is reactive. Never bowled more than 89, huh? If you're ever down my way we'll have to fix that. 😉

I lack depth perception, even with my glasses on, and the hand-eye co-ordination thing is a mystery to me 😉.

Most bowlers use "marks". Next time you're out bowling, try picking a spot about three feet down the lane and shoot for that. After enough time and observance of your results you should be able to tell what "mark" works for you.

I would assume that this mark and myself should also be colinear with a pin, and not, for example, the gutter 😉?
