i dont play it often really (had it for months and am still trying to get golds on the mirror tracks) but i would have to say that my favourite item changes depending on how I am doing.

if i have been dropped down the grid far enough then i get pretty keen on the bullet lol. however when out in front then the gold mushroom or the big shroom are nice to build up that lead a bit lol
