Kyo Kushin Kai - It is a very old form of Karate.

I fiddled with Jeet Kun Do, Jujitsu and Wai Shun Kung Fu a little in my 20s, but none of them really grabbed me.

The only one I still practice is the WMC stuff.

a 6 hole? What dan is that? do you have to wear uniforms? We have to. Like white for tests, blue for leadership, and black for working out in.

I also am in weapons forms or hyungs as it's called in Korean. Weapons are the cali, bow staff, and some other stuff, but i'm not a high enough belt rank to be playing with those yet.

I studied Shorin Ryu, while stationed on Okinawa. My platoon sargent was a 5th degree black belt, and my sensei. My favorite qoute of his is "study and train all you like, but remember, nothing beats crazy in a street fight"

you can't just jump into it again, if you've been gone for a few years. That's what my dad's friend did, and he twisted something in his leg and ended up having surgery.

Wow, so you're a master! Have you met Master Cantin, or Master Kim?

I had a long layoff with illness, i'm a blue sash, and i also did Taijiquan at the same time (also chinese boxing, actually).

I trained with Sakai Karate when i was a kid, and have dabbled in other styles from then to now. My current club is the longest one i've kept up.
