Excellent! All of the books he wrote himself are top quality.Though,of course, his work on openings can be a bit outdated. But,beware,he has lend his name to some dubious ones too.Not for the money, but just 'cause he had a hard time saying 'No' to people. If the book is written by Euwe and 'someone else' I wouldn't be too sure of the value.Though oppinions differ,of course😴
What's the title of your book?

Beggars can't be choosers. I'll work my way through it anyway, I'm sure to learn something 😉.
It's the book someone else mentioned here,'Chess master vs chess amateur' that is frowned upon.Although, again, opinions differ😴

Old Maxey seems to know his stuff

Alekhine drank all of the time, that's no excuse. He just underestimated Euwe and didn't prepare for him, thinking he would easily crush him.In the rematch he prepared well and Euwe got crushed.Alekhine was the better player,no doubt.
Indeed,he was a great ambassador and the best president FIDE has ever had.😏
ps: You might notice...I'm a bit of a fan😉
